Venancio Rubio, head of the Renewable energy Sources in Castilla-La Mancha, The Valencian Community and Murcia, explains the performance and benefits of wind farms producing electricity.

In this interview, he summarizes the most important aspects of wind energy, an inexhaustible renewable energy source that doesn’t produce CO₂ emissions and contributes about 16% of the energy consumed in our country. It also outlines the next steps in its development, which is leaded to marine sites (offshore) that will contribute to the consolidation of wind power as a major energy source of the future.

January 2011 – IBERDROLA is committed to the electric vehicle

Agustín Delgado, Innovation, Environment and Quality Manager of IBERDROLA, answered the questions posed by the Industrial Organisation School (EOI) about the electric vehicle and its prospects in an interview held on 26 January 2011.

During the talk, Agustín Delgado set out the benefits of this new technology (local pollution control, diversification of energy sources and less energy usage) which will contribute significantly to reducing CO₂ emissions and pollution.
